Configuring RegCure Settings
Use the RegCure settings to configure general program operation, check for program updates, configure errors to ignore and schedule scans.
To configure RegCure settings:
1. Click Settings from the main window. The settings window displays (see Figure 6).

2. Use the checkboxes to configure the General Settings:
- Minimize RegCure to the system tray after repair
- Automatically repair problems after scanning
- Create a system restore point before repairing problems
- Check for RegCure updates automatically
- Prompt me before downloading the update
- Launch RegCure on Windows login
3. Click Check for Updates to access the RegCure website to see if any program updates are available. If updates are available, follow the instructions to download and install.
4. After a scan you can add detected items to the Ignore List. This prevents RegCure from removing the item and ensures RegCure ignores it in upcoming scans. To configure the Ignore List, click the Ignore List tab (see Figure 7).

5. To remove an item from the Ignore List, select it and click Remove Selected.
6. To view the regularly scheduled scans/fixes, click the Scheduling tab (see Figure 8).

7. Click Remove All to clear the schedule. Use the instructions in the following sections to manage the scan schedule.
