Restoring the Registry From a Backup
RegCure backs up the registry each time it runs a scan. To restore the registry to a previous state:
1. Click Backup from the main window. The backup list displays the backup name, date and time (see Figure 26).

2. Select a backup from the list and click Restore to restore the registry to the working state when the backup was taken. A dialog box indicates the restore is complete.
3. Select a backup from the list and click Remove to remove the backup from the list.
Managing Windows Startup Programs
To manage the programs that start automatically when Windows starts:
1. Click Manage Startup from the main window. The list of programs and file name/paths displays (see Figure 27).

2. Click Enable All to ensure that all programs on the list start.
3. Click Disable All to ensure that none of the programs on the list start.
4. To disable a specific program, click it on the list and click Disable Selected. To enable it, select it and click Enable selected.
5. To remove a specific program, click it on the list and click Remove Selected.
Note: Removing a program is permanent and the program cannot be returned to the list. Remove programs only if you are sure your computer will not be negatively affected.
