Restoring the Registry

To restore the registry to a previous working state:

1. Click the Restore tab (see Figure 3). A list of registry backups sorted by date and time displays (see Figure 18).

2. Select a registry back up from the list.

3. Click Restore. Confirmation of the restore displays.

Note: You must reboot the computer for the changes to take effect.

To delete a backup from the list:

1. Click the Restore tab (see Figure 3). A list of registry backups sorted by date and time displays (see Figure 18).

2. Select a registry back up from the list.

3. Click Delete selected. A confirmation dialog box displays. Click Delete to remove the item from the list.
