Managing RegistryBooster Settings
The RegistryBooster program settings may be modified to change how the program operates when the computer is booted, how scans function, and whether or not a proxy server is used.
General Settings
To configure general program operation:
1. Click the Settings tab (see Figure 4).
2. Click General settings. The General settings window displays (see Figure 19).

3. In the X drop-down list, select the action to take when you click the “X” in the upper right corner of the program window to close the program.
4. In the – drop-down list, select the action to take when you minimize the program by clicking the “–“ in the upper right corner of the program window.
5. Select the preferred language from the drop-down list.
6. Click Apply to save the changes.
Scan Settings
To configure scan settings:
1. Click the Settings tab (see Figure 4).
2. Click Scan settings. The Scan settings window displays (see Figure 20).

3. Select the scan options using the checkboxes.
4. Select the frequency of scheduled scans from the drop-down list – daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
5. Click Apply to save the settings.
Proxy Settings
To configure settings for a proxy server:
1. Click the Settings tab (see Figure 4).
2. Click Proxy settings. The Proxy settings window displays (see Figure 21).

3. Enter the proxy server IP address into the Address field.
4. Enter the proxy server port into the Port field.
5. Enter the username and password into the appropriate fields.
6. Click Enable proxy to enable the proxy server.
7. Click Apply to save the settings.
System Information
To view system information:
1. Click the Settings tab (see Figure 4).
2. Click System information. The System information window displays (see Figure 22).
