Restore your Registry with Registry Mechanic

Use the Restore function to restore your system to a previous working state.

1. Click Optimize or use the arrows to access the Optimize options.

2. Click Restore. The Restore Registry Backup window displays (see Figure 16).

3. Select a backup from the list and click Restore. The changes are made and the item is removed from the list.

To do a partial restore:

1. Select a backup and click Open to view the specific items (see Figure 17).

2. Click the items restore, so the checkboxes are checked, and click Restore.

3. Click Refresh to redisplay the list.

4. Click an item and click Delete to remove it from the list.

5. Click Finished to exit.
