Windows Update
The Windows Update option updates the Windows operating system using the Windows Control Panel.
Note: This is a Windows program that is accessed by Registry Mechanic. Consult your Windows documentation for how to use this feature.
1. Click Windows Tools or use the arrows to access the Windows Tools options.
2. Click Windows Update. The Windows Update feature of the Control Panel displays (see Figure 28).

3. Click the X in the upper right corner of the window to close it.
System Properties
The System Properties option provides access to Windows to manage the computer name, hardware, and more.
Note: This is a Windows program that is accessed by Registry Mechanic. Consult your Windows documentation for how to use this feature.
1. Click Windows Tools or use the arrows to access the Windows Tools options.
2. Click System Properties. The Windows Control Panel displays (see Figure 29).

3. Click the X in the upper right corner of the window to close it.
Control Panel
The Control Panel option provides access the Windows Control Panel.

The Windows Security Center option provides access the Windows security management tool.

2. Click Windows Security Center. The Windows Security Center displays (see
Figure 31).

Disk Management
The Disk Management option provides access to the Windows disk management tool.

1. Click Windows Tools or use the arrows to access the Windows Tools options.
2. Click Disk Management. The Windows Disk Management window displays (see
Figure 32).
